Electric Zoo will be returning to Randall’s Island for its 3rd year. After receiving the nomination in 2010 from International Dance Music Awards for “Best U.S. Festival.” Electric Zoo 2011 will top last year’s festival with an even more stacked lineup and other precautions to make it the best possible festival. Last year festival attendees complained about the obnoxious amount of dust in the air, this year Made Event has been prepping the grass since spring to reduce the amount dust and will be coving all the stage areas with a flooring to dance on.
8 new additions have been made to the Electric Zoo line up, including an iEnlive favorite, Alesso. Other additions include Felix Cartel, Gramatik, Umek, The M Machine (DJ Set), Guti (Live), and Serge Devant. Below is the updated poster.
UPDATE: The Finnish Duo Super8 & Tab, from Above & Beyond’s label Anjunabeats have just been added to the lineup. Besure to check these guys out and all their trance love on Sunday.
