iEnlive Music is excited to proudly announce some spectacular news, as it will be making its official Chicago debut this summer of 2011. Kicking off with complete coverage of Lollaplooza and The North Coast Festival including all the pre/after parties, we’ll be ported in Chicago all summer and year long bringing you the latest in electronic dance music, events, news, festivals and beyond. If you don’t already know, Chicago was the birthplace of House music. In the early 1980′s, House Music became popular among Latinos, Blacks, and Gays at the discothèques. In 1984, the Chicago radio station WBMX-FM played early house music, including the acclaimed ”first house track” ‘On and On’ by Chicago DJ Jesse Sanders. We’re stoked to be in the local midwest area covering massive upcoming events and more in electronic dance music!
As summer is at its prime point, Chicago will soon be the home to thousands of dance music lovers as Lollapalooza and The North Coast Music Festival gear up for their annual summer appearances.
