Kaskade’s Hollywood Block Party gets shuts down by LAPD (updated with video)

As world famous DJ & Producer Kaskade makes his appearance in Hollywood in Los Angeles, the hyped “Block Party” immediately becomes too much to handle, as fans, police, and other fanatic individuals get called off by the LAPD throughout the area. Kaskade’s tweets and warnings alert his diehard fans as they try to make their way to the free concert he came for, but all may or may not be completely called off according to officials. Either way, we passed by and couldn’t resist to see the scene. View on after the break for some firsthand images off the net of what has been going on. We’ll be here to update on whatever we see and hear. Are you there? Shoot us a tweet/image [@iEnlive] and we’ll feature it here!

[Update]: Unfortunately, we’ve got the news that the crowd also set fire to an LAPD cruiser on Orange Avenue in Hollywood. But the good news is that Kaskade looks like he’s on the set stage playing a free concert in front of thousands.

[Update 2]: Video of the craziness from Hollywood hits YouTube – 9 minutes of people conduct & by fans trying to get in to another free Kaskade event. Share more links with us in the comments, we’ll keep you updated right here!
P.S. Nice to hear Avicii’s “Fade Into Darkness” featured in the beginning of the video! But that’s not important, back to the riot.

[Update 3]: The block party and following afterparty have been officially shut down by officials in Hollywood.
